- involve facilitator led sessions
- allow the participants to 'develop' since they will have application and practice time between sessions. Each session ends with specific goals and action steps to be accomplished by the next session.
- provide a text and an audio-CD for different learning styles
- provide an action plan workbook for self improvement that the participant will use for life
- involve goal setting with supervisors - include facilitator feedback to the organization's management to see if things are on track
- give reinforcement of desired behaviors by the facilitator and group members
- provide mulitple weeks of practice and accountability in goal setting/ achievement habits using SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistically high, with Target dates)
- emphasize 'possibility' thinking and challenge 'self-limiting' assumptions
- improve skills in communication, time management, being organized, decision making
- include unlmited access to the facilitator by phone and email during the process
Implementation
