- provide an action plan workbook for self improvement that the participant will use for life
- involve goal setting with supervisors - include facilitator feedback to the organization's management to see if things are on track
- give reinforcement of desired behaviors by the facilitator and group members
- provide mulitple weeks of practice and accountability in goal setting/ achievement habits using SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistically high, with Target dates)
- emphasize 'possibility' thinking and challenge 'self-limiting' assumptions
- improve skills in communication, time management, being organized, decision making
- include unlmited access to the facilitator by phone and email during the process
