Customized Coaching
Each person, each group is unique. There are no cookie-cutter people and so there are no cookie-cutter coaching experiences. Some people/companies want to achieve specific business goals, some people/companies want to prepare themselves for a bright new future of business growth or career expansion.
We listen to what you want; we probe to find out what you’re really saying. We question you for what you really desire as long term outcomes. Then we customize a program for you as an individual or as a company group.
Here are some examples:
A CPA wants to work on organizing the practice, delegating to staff and shifting to a new client focus. We work together twice a month on an hourly basis to accomplish those goals.
A mid-level insurance executive is looking to give himself a greater foundation to rise to senior management. A six month Phase 1 custom program is structured which includes self-leadership, self-assessments, motivation, communication, goal setting, team productivity, time management, client loyalty and sales process. Phases 2 and 3 deal with creating a prioritized plan out of all the choices created by the foundational learning and handling obstacles as they arise.
A CPA wants to develop a more positive orientation and achieve greater work/life balance. We work together twice a month on an ongoing basis.
The owner of an engineering firm wants to substantially grow his firm. The ongoing engagement includes focus on the sales process, goal planning with the entire staff, helping the owner evaluate opportunities for growth, discussing current situations as they appear, planning work flow, bringing in recommended professionals for accounting, IT support, moving the office, etc.
A CPA firm has a staff that doesn’t take initiative, is not particularly engaged and makes mistakes even when they have the skills. A customized ten week program is structured in self leadership, client loyalty strategies and projects, self assessments, communication techniques, daily work flow and to-do lists, accountability, and team leadership. Individuals are given the choice to continue with individual coaching.
The owner of a video production company wants to grow the company and take full advantage of impending sales opportunities. A 3 month sales process is customized with aspects of management, profitable estimate creation and business planning. She then continues on a monthly basis to continue the coaching relationship to maintain the stimulation of creative problem solving.
A CPA has one goal about handling a particular staff incident at his office. We work one time to produce an action plan to handle that problem.
Several owners of small businesses engage in a 4 week group business planning process. Then they follow that by meeting twice a month as a group to continue their growth and hold each other accountable for forward movement.
